LPRC wants to make Wyatt's dream come true this this year! Would you like to be part of it?
On Sunday, July 26th Wyatt Ellis started complaining of a bad headache. By the next morning, he was unresponsive and rushed to the hospital in Livingston and then transferred to Texas Children’s where he is in the fight of his life against bacterial meningitis. The meningitis has caused severe brain swelling that has resulted in a brain herniation and a spinal cord injury. Wyatt and his family have a very rough road ahead of them and we are continuing to pray for the best possible outcome. Wyatt is a tremendously sweet and active 14-year-old boy who was so looking forward to finally getting to play high school football this year. He is the shining light of his family and is well known for his positive outlook on life. The family is deeply thankful to everyone who has offered to help and for their continued prayers. Here is the link to Wyatt's Facebook Page
Instead of exchanging gifts, we have decided to start a tradition of helping someone that could use a big smile on their face!
Chad Waligura with Able Outdoors has introduced us to Wyatt Ellis! He is 14 years old and lives in Livingston, Texas. Wyatt recently had a spinal stroke (they think) in the C-2 to 4 range which is very high. The higher it is, the more damage to the spine, which in turn affects his mobility. He’s came home from rehab this past week and is settling into his new normal.
He loves the outdoors and wants to be able to continue to hunt & fish. In order for that to happen, he is going to need a gun set up like the HQ100 (around $2k) from Be Adaptive Equipment. LPRC wants to help make this dream come true... if you would like to donate and be part of this moment, you can mail a check or you can Venmo us!
